Adult

There is a place for every member of the family to participate in one of our many Sunday School Classes offered each week following our Worship Service. All our classes provide a wonderful opportunity for you to find friendship, spiritual growth and personal encouragement. Sunday School is a time to dig deeper into God's Word and to seek practical life applications from the Bible.

Our classes enjoy social activities such as dinners, sporting events, weekend retreats, and informal get-togethers. Many life-long friendships have been formed and the prayer and care that takes place in these classes is a real blessing to all who participate. Visitors are always welcome!

San Gabriel Community Church recognizes the scriptural priority of gathering to encourage and have fellowship with other believers. Membership is a great way to fulfill this desire and to serve the Body of Christ. To become a member one must complete membership classes, and embrace the Covenant of Fellowship below.

Covenant of Fellowship

Publicly confessing my faith in Christ as the Son of God, and as the Savior of the world, and as my personal Savior, and in the Holy Spirit as my comforter and guide, and in the Bible as the inspired Word of God, I purpose by the aid of the Heavenly Father to do His will; to take this Church as my church and its members as my fellow members in the family of faith; to submit to the loving oversight and discipline of the officers of this Church; to bring to it such faith and comfort as I have means to render, to faithfully observe its ordinances, attend its services, uphold its benevolences, share its burdens, love its members and seek its unity, purity and increase.

Baptism

We offer a class to teach the Biblical significance of baptism for believers in Jesus Christ who desire to follow the Lord in water baptism.

If you have any questions, or are interested in being baptized, please contact Dave Halverson, Associate Pastor of Outreach Ministries.
